An Awareness Fair for Pensioners and Family Pensioners Who Missed E-KYC to Be Held from 4th to 6th: Ashok Kumar

Pensioners can avail benefits at the District Treasury Office and Sub-Treasury Offices

Fatehgarh Sahib, December 2:

The Punjab government has made the decision to organize a three-day Awareness Fair in order to provide retirees and family pensioners who failed to complete their E-KYC with another chance.

Sharing this information, District Treasury Officer Ashok Kumar remarked that the Awareness Fair held in November received an amazing response from the beneficiaries. In light of this, the District Treasury Office in Fatehgarh Sahib and the Sub-Treasury Offices in Bassi Pathana, Khamano, and Amloh will host an Awareness Fair on December 4, 5, and 6 to introduce the E-KYC procedure.

District Treasury Officer Ashok Kumar claimed that this fair will be advantageous for those retirees who were unable to register themselves on the Pension Seva Portal for any reason. He said that E-KYC is necessary for every pensioner and family pensioner.

Appealing to the pensioners, the District Treasury Officer said that just as it is essential to provide the Life Certificate in banks, registration on this portal will enable provisions for monthly pension accounting, data grievance redressal, succession module, etc. He emphasized that even pensioners who have already given their Life Certificates to the banks but have not yet registered on the Pension Seva Portal must do so.
