Ban on Assembly of Five or More Persons Within 100 Meters of UPSC (EPFO/APFC) Examination Centers.
Using the authority granted by Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, District Magistrate (DM) Himanshu Jain has banned gatherings of five or more people within a 100-meter radius of the following nine examination centers (apart from examination candidates, authorized observers, invigilation staff, and officials on duty).
This restriction applies to the Union Public Service Commission’s (UPSC) examination for the positions of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) and Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EPFO) on November 30, 2025, from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
According to Jain, the exams are being administered at nine locations/centers in Ludhiana by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). He also underlined how crucial it is to guarantee the successful and seamless administration of these crucial tests.
