‘Jattan Kalli,’ Wanted in RSS Leader’s Son’s Murder Case, Arrested! Shot in the Ferozepur Encounter.
Ferozepur, November 20, 2025: A fierce encounter took place between the ਪੁਲਿਸ and miscreants this morning in Ferozepur, ਪੰਜਾਬ. In this operation, the ਪੁਲਿਸ arrested Jattan Kalli, accused of the murder of Naveen Arora, son of senior RSS leader Baldev Raj Arora. The accused was seriously injured in the firing that occurred near the Sodhiwala area on the Arifke Road and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
As soon as he saw ਪੁਲਿਸ at the checkpoint, he was fired.
Kalli, the wanted criminal, was reportedly wandering the area, according to an intelligence input that the ਪੁਲਿਸ had received. Based on this knowledge, the DSP ਸ਼ਹਿਰ and his group established a barrier (nakabandi) and a trap.
Arriving on a bicycle, Jattan Kalli attempted to escape when he saw the ਪੁਲਿਸ and opened fire on the group of officers. His gunshot just missed the driver when it struck the ਪੁਲਿਸ car’s window. The accused was Injured in Retaliation
Kalli was shot and hurt when the ਪੁਲਿਸ retaliated by firing in self-defense. He was quickly subdued by the ਪੁਲਿਸ and taken to the Civil Hospital for medical attention. The SSP Ferozepur and other senior authorities arrived at the location to assess the situation after learning about the event.
The Murder Case’s Third Arrest
The accused fired at the ਪੁਲਿਸ using a .32-bore pistol that the ਪੁਲਿਸ had confiscated from the scene. Currently, a forensic team is looking into the possibility that Naveen Arora’s murder was also committed using this same weapon.
It should be mentioned that the ਪੁਲਿਸ had already detained two other suspects, Manav and Harsh, in this well-known murder case, making this the third arrest. Kalli was born and raised in the ਪਿੰਡ of Wadhani Jaimal Singh.
