Prioritizing the Development of Maritime Capabilities
On the social networking site “X,” the Russian Embassy revealed that the two leaders talked about a number of bilateral cooperation-related topics. In particular, both parties stated that they were interested in enhancing their maritime capacities and expanding communication between Russia and India in this area.
The primary goal of this discussion with Patrushev was to further strengthen the two nations’ strategic alliance in a number of areas.
Meeting of Foreign Ministers in Moscow
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar earlier on Monday in Moscow. The two leaders discussed the arrangements for President Putin’s upcoming visit to India during the 23rd Annual Summit.
Jaishankar reported on ‘X’ that their discussions addressed a number of topics, including people-to-people exchanges, trade, investment, energy, agriculture, and technology. They also discussed regional and international topics.
According to Jaishankar, “Relationship is a Factor of Stability.”
Jaishankar said that the India-Russian cooperation has long contributed to stability in international relations during the meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister.
“A number of bilateral agreements, initiatives, and projects across various sectors are currently under discussion,” he stated. We anticipate that they will be completed in the upcoming days. This will undoubtedly strengthen our unique and exclusive strategic alliance.”
