Two unidentified young people on a motorcycle shot a young man in the Gurdaspur district’s Ghuman Kalan Police Station area before escaping the scene.
Pahlideep Singh was reportedly riding his Activa scooter home to Ghuman Kalan when two attackers on a Splendor motorcycle opened fire on him close to the village of Vadda Ghuman.
Pahlideep Singh was hurt when the bullet touched his neck. He was treated right away at a private hospital in Amritsar.
According to reports, he is in no danger. The incident has been verified by a police official. Pahlideep Singh is the grandson of Harbans Singh Ghuman, a former MLA with ties to the Shiromani Akali Dal.
