Punjabi Singer Babbu Maan Entangled in New Controversy: Sang Songs Promoting Liquor at Chintpurni Mahotsav in Una, Complaint Filed in Ludhiana.
Punjabi singer Babbu Maan’s performance in Una, Himachal Pradesh, has generated controversy. Because of this show, Babbu Maan has become embroiled in a fresh scandal. In the show, he is accused of disparaging Hindu deities. Hindu groups have complained to the Deputy Commissioner and called for Babbu Maan and the organizers to be held accountable. In Una, Himachal Pradesh, the Mata Chintpurni Mahotsav was held. The stage was professionally prepared to resemble Maa Chintpurni’s Darbar (court/sanctuary), and a flame (Jyoti) was transported and established from Chintpurni for the occasion.
Dera Massa Bhai and Jai Maa Langar Sewa Samiti filed the grievance
The administration arranged the Mata Chintpurni Mahotsav at Una, when Maa Chintpurni’s flame (Jyoti) was properly brought and established, according to Dera chief Swami Amreshwar Das. He claimed that at the event, Punjabi singer Babbu Maan promoted alcohol while performing obscene songs on stage.
He stated that this initiative was organized by the district government. He added that during Babbu Maan’s performance, there was mayhem (hooliganism). He pointed out that it was the location of Maa Chintpurni’s Darbar (sanctuary), where daughters were forced to dance to obscene music on the stage.
If the festival had been called something else, there would have been no issues.
According to Swami Amreshwar Das, they would not have objected to the songs and atmosphere if the celebration had not been called Maa Chintpurni Mahotsav. He claimed that at the Chintpurni Mahotsav, Babbu Maan did not sing a single syllable in honor of Maa Chintpurni.

“Mahfil Mitran Di Sajdi Roz Davare, Botala De Dutt Khul Gaye”
Babbu Maan sang songs that encourage weaponry and intoxication, such as “Mahfil Mitran Di Sajdi Roz Davare, Botala De Dutt Khul Gaye” (The gathering of friends is set up daily, the corks of the bottles have opened), according to Swami Amreshwar Das, Mandeep Mallan, and others. They said that singing such songs in front of the Mata’s Darbar (shelter) directly offends Hindus. The program’s indecency on November 15 and 16
Every Sankranti, according to Swami Amreshwar Das and others, they visit the Mata Chintpurni Darbar to serve langar (a communal kitchen). They claimed that Babbu Maan and Amrit Maan received invitations to the November 15 and 16 program in Una. They claimed that instead of singing a single devotional hymn, the two artists propagated immorality and profanity.
Jyoti, or The Flame arrived on the fourteenth
According to Badal Jain, on November 14, the flame (Jyoti) was transported from Mata Chintpurni’s Darbar and established there. In addition, a duplicate of the Mata’s Darbar was set up at the location. According to him, the government is free to host a fair (Mela), but it shouldn’t be named after Maa Chintpurni. He clarified that these kinds of obscene songs are not sung at Jagraatas, or all-night devotional singing, where the Mother’s flame is conveyed.
