Car Enters Shop After Brake Failure in Kapurthala: Electric Pole Broken; One Dead; Driver in Serious Condition.


Late Friday night, on Sultanpur Lodhi Road in the Kapurthala region of Punjab, an automobile lost control and struck an electric pole close to Subhash Palace Chowk before rolling over. One young person was killed in the collision, and another was gravely hurt. The police claim that the car’s brakes failed, which is why the accident happened.

Priyanshu was identified as the deceased.

Priyanshu, the son of Mohalla Mehtabgarh resident Harjinder Singh, has been identified as the deceased. He was in the car with Dilbagh Singh, a Kala Butala native and his maternal uncle. They were both on their way back from the market.

Death While Receiving Hospital Treatment

A police team arrived at the scene after learning of the occurrence, and both injured parties were taken to Civil Hospital Kapurthala. Priyanshu was pronounced deceased by the duty physician, while Dilbagh Singh is reportedly receiving treatment for a critical illness.

Police started looking into the City Police Station SHO According to Amandeep, ASI Satnam Singh has been given the task of investigating the case. In order to ascertain if the brake failure was the result of carelessness or a technical issue, the police have placed the car under arrest and begun a technical examination.
