Fierce Fire at Sports King Factory in Bathinda: Cotton Bales in Warehouse Burnt, Flames Visible from Afar.
Firefighters are working to put out the fire at the Sports King Factory warehouse.
Around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, the Sports King Factory warehouse in Bathinda’s Jida hamlet caught fire. The entire warehouse was instantly consumed by the fire due to its extreme intensity.
The research indicates that one of the sizable warehouses constructed within the manufacturing grounds is where the fire originated. This storehouse held thousands of quintals of cotton bales. Due to the cotton, the fire spread rapidly, and thick smoke filled the sky, which could be seen from far away.
Automobiles came on the scene right away and began putting out the flames.
As soon as the SHO received information, they arrived at the location.
Naiyan Wala S.S.O. Singh, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the local police station, arrived and assessed the situation. According to him, the cotton warehouse is the primary location of the fire. However, managing the fire has become a very difficult chore because of the vast amount of raw cotton. Controlling the fire’s flames is a constant struggle for firefighters.
As of now, this incident has not resulted in any reports of property damage or fatalities. It is feared, nevertheless, that raw materials valued at lakhs to crores of rupees that were kept in the manufacturing warehouse have been reduced to ashes. Only when the fire has been fully contained can the exact evaluation of the loss be completed.
