Tarn Taran By-Election Voting: 3 Party Candidates Voted with Family; Mischievous Element Set Fire to BJP’s Polling Counter, Police Arrived.
Tarn Taran Polls: Manjit, a student, and Amarjit, a 70-year-old, showed up to vote. Sukwinder Kaur was the first person to cast a ballot at the booth today.
Today, November 11, voting is taking place in the Punjabi by-election for the Tarn Taran assembly constituency. Voting will take place from 7 AM until 6 PM. People’s enthusiasm for voting is evident. Amarjit, who is 70 years old, arrived at the booth first.
Singh has come here since his vote is in Tarn Taran. Manjot Kaur, a law student, cast his vote for the politician who eliminates corruption and promotes inclusivity.

It is noteworthy that fifteen individuals are running in this by-election. Following the passing of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Kashmir Singh Sohal, who was elected in 2022, this seat became vacant. This is the first assembly by-election in which the party of pro-Khalistan MP Amritpal Singh from Khadoor Sahib has fielded a candidate.
There are 222 polling places available for voting. Twelve companies of central security forces have been stationed on this seat for the first time in a by-election. This seat has 1.92 lakh voters in total. Dr Ravjot Kaur Grewal was dismissed by the Election Commission three days prior to the election due to a complaint from the Akali Dal. On November 14, the votes will be counted.
