Fake Dope Test Reports for Arms Licenses in Ludhiana: ACP Files FIR Against 2 People, Police Now Scrutinising Entire Network.
After an inquiry at the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Licensing) office, a formal complaint has finally been filed against two individuals in Ludhiana for creating fictitious dope test records in exchange for money to get weapons licences.
This move was performed in response to senior officials’ directions, which resulted in a thorough examination of every dope test file provided by applicants for an arms license. Some people were swiftly obtaining licenses through fraud and deception, according to the study.
An FIR was filed at Police Station Division-5 against Prins Singh and Harpinder Singh following a report from the office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Licensing) Ludhiana. They both live in Mohnalla.
Serious provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 318(4), 336(2,3), 338, 340(2), 341(2), and Section 30 of the Arms Act, have been used to prosecute the accused in both cases.
