Death of a Constable Posted for Security at Ludhiana Airport: Suffered a heart attack during morning duty; died on the way to a private hospital.
Baljit Singh, a 36-year-old Punjab Police constable, passed away from a heart attack while on security duty at the Halwara International Airport in Ludhiana.
Baljit Singh was reportedly on duty at the airport’s main entrance gate on Wednesday morning at around 9:30 AM. Abruptly, he started to feel uneasy and lightheaded.
That’s where he fell. He was promptly taken to the Atiana Dispensary by his fellow police officers, where medical professionals checked his low blood pressure. He was referred to a private nursing home after receiving primary care, but he died on the way there. declared him dead before he could reach the hospital, but Dr Sanjeev Chopra declared him dead before he could reach the hospital.
Baljit was a parent of one son.
The Civil Hospital in Jagraon is performing Baljit Singh’s post-mortem. Following the post-mortem, his body will be transported to Bandala Nan Bomb (District Ferozepur), his ancestral hamlet, where his final ceremonies will be carried out with full government honours. Baljit Singh departs with his children and wife.
ASI Prem Singh, who oversees airport security, said that Baljit Singh, Senior Constable Jasprit Singh, and his colleague ASI Gurjit Singh were on duty. Baljit Singh, according to Prem Singh, is a police officer who is kind, upbeat, and committed to his work.
