Deputy Commissioner Issues Directives to Officials Regarding Arrangements

A Light and Sound Show will be held on November 4 at the Madhopur Sports Stadium in Sirhind as part of the Government of Punjab’s extensive celebration of the 350th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. The purpose of the event is to educate the public about the teachings and life philosophy of the Guru Sahib. Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind provided this information today while chairing a meeting about the event’s preparations that was held at the District Administrative Complex.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, attendees are asked to arrive by 5:30 PM for the event, which is being run by Punjab’s Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. She stated that since thousands of people from all across the district will be taking part, carelessness in the planning will not be accepted.

The Deputy Commissioner said that Shankar Sharma, the Chief Minister’s Field Officer, has been designated as the Nodal Officer to guarantee the prompt and effective completion of the event’s preparations.

Deputy Commissioner Dr Sona Thind invited district residents to enthusiastically participate, saying that admission to this event, which links life and spirituality, will be free as part of the Punjab Government’s significant efforts to spread the message, life, and philosophy of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji to all humanity. She gave officials instructions to make sure everything operated smoothly, including the security system, parking, cleanliness, medical facilities, and other amenities.

Sub-Divisional Magistrates Arvind Gupta, Amloh Chetan Bangar, Bassi Pathana Harveer Kaur, Khamano Manreet Rana, SP Rakesh Yadav, DSP Harteesh Kaushik, and other officials were present at the event.
