MoU between the Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Zoho Corporation.

A fresh boost to young people’s entrepreneurship and skill development

Today, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Zoho Corporation and the Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED), Chandigarh, under the direction of Director Paramjit Singh. Zoho Corporation was represented at the occasion by Mohammad Rameez, Global Head. The ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries, including Professor Dr J.K. Sehgal, Principal, Postgraduate Government College, Sector 11, Chandigarh. This action represents a critical turning point in the empowerment of young people via business and skill development.

Important Aspects of the Collaboration

  • Certification: As part of this collaboration, RCED granted certifications to applicants who successfully completed its most recent skill development programme. The programme’s main goal is to get young people ready for jobs and opportunities for self-employment. The RCED team wished each recipient a prosperous future and congratulated them.
  • Highlighting ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’: Zoho Corporation was cited as an example of India’s inventiveness and independence (Atmanirbharata). The company, which was founded in India, has created cloud-based enterprise software solutions and applications for productivity, teamwork, and business administration. Its quick expansion is used as an illustration of the calibre of Indian engineering and the goals of Digital India.
  • Government Support: The central government’s promotion of “Swadeshi” (Indigenous) and “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan” (Self-Reliant India Campaign) highlights the significance of this partnership. Senior ministers have started using Zoho in public, and the Ministry of Education recently gave staff instructions to use its tools, urging residents to embrace domestic technology.
  • Future Scope: This RCED MoU will support Indian entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and self-reliant growth in addition to skill development.

In order to guarantee young success in the cutthroat economy of today, future plans call for the implementation of advanced training modules, incubator support, and enterprise readiness programmes.

  • Certificates Awarded: Children who participated in the One Trade Skilled Training programme were also given certificates on this occasion by RCED.
