ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ Administration Reluctant and Neglecting to Allot Space to Senior Citizens

Under the direction of Shri M.L. Verma, the Senior residents Association had its monthly meeting here ਅੱਜ. During the meeting, the group denounced the ਸਰਕਾਰ’s and the ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ administration’s disregard for senior residents. They bemoaned the fact that their one and only request, which was to be given the two rooms the ਸਰਕਾਰ had set aside for the elderly, had not yet been fulfilled. They claimed that despite repeated requests to the administration and the local MLA, the ਸਰਕਾਰ’s announcements about the well-being of older citizens are turning out to be a bunch of lies.
During the discussion, it was urged that children’s company, expenses, and everyday lives be given extra consideration in order to shield them from the growing drug threat.
The ਸਰਕਾਰ’s discovery of tainted khoa and other counterfeit goods during the holiday season was reported in the ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ, demonstrating how human health is being compromised. In order to permanently put an end to this evil behavior, the assembly called for the ਮੌਤ penalty to be applied to those who sell counterfeit goods.
It was underlined that using a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle can save countless lives in an effort to curb the rising number of traffic accidents.
During the meeting, everyone cut a cake to celebrate the birthdays of senior members Bharpur Singh, Pirtpal Singh Dharni, Karamjit Singh (Retired Tehsildar), Diwan Chand Gupta, and Jai Krishan Kashyap. They also wished them a long and happy life. Additionally, all members congratulated Karamjit Singh on the birth of his granddaughter and grandson. Everyone indulged in the lavish gathering and meal that Karamjit Singh threw for the members.
