‘Mera bhola hai bhandari, karta Nandi ki sawari’, a bhajan (devotional song) that made Hansraj Raghuwanshi famous, has been threatened with death, including for his family. According to the accused, they are part of the Lawrence and Goldy Brar gang. Vijay Kataria, the singer’s security guard, has lodged a complaint against a Madhya Pradesh resident in Mohali. The singer’s wedding was also attended by the accused.

In Madhya Pradesh, he allegedly started extorting family members by posing as the singer’s younger brother. Additionally, he attempted to prevent Raghuwanshi from appearing at his next events. For the singer, a ransom demand of Rs 15 lakh has been made.

Regarding the complaint made by Hansraj’s security guard, the police stated, ‘The accused lives in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. On October 22, Vijay, the singer’s security guard, lodged a complaint against Rahul Kumar Nagde, a native of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, at the Zirakpur police station in Mohali. In accordance with IT Act section 67 and BNS sections 296, 351(2), and 308(5), the police have filed a formal complaint in this case.

Nagde had brought Deendayal’s wife along and claimed to be the singer’s younger brother.
