Seminar Organized on Women’s Safety, Access to Justice, and Awareness

The Sakhi One Stop Centre is doing a wonderful job of protecting women, preventing violence against them, and giving them access to the legal system.

In order to educate women about their legal rights, governmental resources, and facilities, the Sakhi Centre staff regularly conducts awareness campaigns in villages, schools, and public areas.

Special awareness seminars were held at Anganwadi Centre Ward No. 09 Amloh and Anganwadi Centre Dev Nagar by Sakhi One Stop Centre. Rajni Bala, the Sakhi Centre Incharge, told the women about the Sakhi One Stop Centre on this particular occasion, saying that it is more than simply a location; it is a trustworthy resource that offers women who have been abused justice, safety, and hope.

She told us that the center offers free services like psychological and social counselling, free legal advice and help, medical assessment and appropriate treatment, prompt police support, and temporary shelter (for a maximum of 10 days). All of these services are conveniently located under one roof, allowing the victim women to get support right away without any delays or obstacles.
