In Ludhiana’s Kochar Market, a bus carrying kids unexpectedly struck high-tension electrical lines, causing panic. About fifty-five kids from Sangrur were being transported by bus to take part in a sporting event. People fled their homes for a short time as sparks flew throughout the entire neighbourhood due to the accident’s extreme risk.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt, and all of the kids are safe. However, because the high-tension line cables broke after the collision and fell to the ground, the area’s energy supply was cut off following the tragedy.

The accident happened at approximately 8:45 p.m. The youngsters who were stuck inside the bus were safely hauled out by the locals who were on the scene and had presence of mind. Additionally, they dispatched personnel from the power department right away, who cut the line and began repairs.

“If the electricity had been on, the lives of many innocents could have been lost today.” Rajesh Raja added that he has repeatedly complained to the department about the dangling lines and the height of the wires.

The bus driver said that he was unable to see the wires because of the darkness and the off street lights at the roadside. The children became frightened when sparks suddenly flew. The administration has requested an investigation into the accident. The electricity supply in Kochar Market and the surrounding region was cut off for three hours as the electricity department team replaced the cables.
