Bharat Gaurav Train departs from Amritsar: It will offer a divine view of four Jyotirlingas and the Statue of Unity to devotees on a 9-day journey.
For devotees, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has started a unique programme.
Today, October 25, 2025, at 8 AM, the Bharat Gaurav Train, which is based on the “Char Jyotirlinga and Statue of Unity Yatra” (Four Jyotirlingas and Statue of Unity Journey), left Amritsar Railway Station.
The duration of this unique rail trip is nine days and eight nights.
Devotees will be able to witness the following while travelling:
Mahakaleshwar Ujjain
Omkareshwar in Indore
Dwarkadhish Temple and Dwarka Nageshwar
Somnath Veraval
Unity Statue, which is situated in Kevadia
After leaving Amritsar, the train will stop in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Rewari to allow passengers to embark. will reach all religious places. The journey will conclude at Amritsar Railway Station on November 2, 2025.
A Great Work by the Government and Railways
“I am very pleased that I am travelling on this train with my family today,” said Rajiv Kumar Sharma, an Amritsar resident, expressing his happiness. The government and railway administration have made a very admirable effort. I am appreciative that this train would transport us to the Char Jyotirlinga, also known as the Four Jyotirlinga. This train’s operation was everyone’s dream, and today it has come true. I am really happy.

“This is a train that connects us to our Sanatan Dharma (Eternal Way of Life/Hinduism),” Anjana Sharma added in the meantime. Every arrangement they have done is excellent. For the nine days, everything has been planned, including our meals, housing, and care. We were greeted with beauty as soon as we arrived at the station. Being a part of this adventure makes us very happy.
