The District Administration, in partnership with the Education Department and Sanjhi Sikhiya Foundation, is hosting a “Sikhiya Sanwaad” (Education Dialogue) at Aam Khas Bagh on November 7 to honor the educators who illuminate knowledge based on their experience and skill in the district’s government schools for their best achievements. MLA Amloh Gurinder Singh Garry Birring made this announcement today in front of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sona Thind during a meeting with Sanjhi Sikhiya Foundation office bearers and Education Department representatives to discuss preliminary event preparations.

According to MLA Gurinder Singh Garry Birring, he has long believed that our talented educators put forth a lot of effort to illuminate the lamp of knowledge and document exceptional accomplishments in the field of education. As a result, he said, it is imperative that we honor, support, and bring these seasoned educators together on one platform. He said that in addition to honoring 100 gifted teachers from the district’s government schools on November 7, a special display and discussion with education experts from across the nation will help them succeed even more in the future.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sona Thind stated during the meeting that this will be a one-of-a-kind effort and a significant step towards consistently motivating all instructors who are committed to working relentlessly with a sense of dedication.

Attending the meeting were the Sanjhi Sikhiya Foundation’s District Team, District Revenue Officer Karun Gupta, District Education Officer (Secondary) Ravinder Kaur, and Deputy District Education Officer (Primary) Kamaljeet Kaur.
