AAP Leader Miyadian to Join BJP in Amritsar: Acting President Sharma Will Facilitate the Joining Today; Was Upset with the Party for Some Time.
Today, Amritsar’s Rajasansi assembly constituency’s Baldev Singh Miyadian would defect from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Miyadian was the AAP’s candidate from the same constituency in 2022 and had a number of other duties within the party.

Miyadian Was Distressed by AAP
For a while, Miyadian had been angry with the AAP. After being named the constituency’s (Rajasansi) in-charge by the party high leadership, Sonia Mann stepped up her efforts. After then, Miyadian began to feel unheard, so he made the decision to leave the celebration.
After joining the BJP, Miyadian might also be selected as the party’s candidate in the 2027 assembly elections. Amrpal Singh Boni Ajnala, the rural president of the BJP, has confirmed his joining the party.
