MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai initiates work on the $1.25 crore road from Reona Niwan to Rurki

Large number of villagers to benefit from the reconstruction of the approximately seven-kilometer-long road

Fatehgarh Sahib, October 16:

The Punjab Government is making extensive preparations to ensure that the devotees have no difficulties, taking into account the convenience of the thousands of devotees from India and overseas who arrive during the Shaheedi Sabha, which is devoted to the unparalleled martyrdom of the Tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s younger Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh, Baba Fateh Singh, and Mata Gujri Ji. Advocate Lakhbir Singh Rai, the constituency MLA, voiced these opinions when he started construction on the roughly 7-kilometre route that would connect Reona Niwan to Rurki Bus Stand via Panjoli Kalan, Nalina Khurd, and Nalina Kalan.

He told us that this road will cost ₹1.25 crore and be finished in time for the Shaheedi Sabha. According to him, the repair of this road will bring relief to many villagers.

According to MLA Advocate Lakhbir Singh Rai, a vigorous push to clean the constituency’s main thoroughfares and village connection roads will shortly begin in anticipation of the Shaheedi Sabha, and the roads will be entirely renovated in time for the meeting.

According to MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai, thousands of devotees visit Fatehgarh Sahib during the Shaheedi Sabha, and as a constituency public servant, he will do everything in his power to make the Sangat (devotees) comfortable. He claimed that since the Aam Aadmi Party-led government came to power in the state, many landmark decisions have been made for the benefit of the populace and that under the “Roshan Punjab Mission”, Punjab will be the first state in the nation to provide its citizens with a continuous, 24-hour electricity supply.

The MLA reported that the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation is currently working on the streetlights that have been installed on the roads leading to Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib and cleaning the public restrooms that were constructed for the convenience of the devotees travelling from India and overseas.
