MLA Rai Initiates Work on Fatehgarh Sahib to Mandi Gobindgarh Road at a Cost of ₹2.18 Crore

Punjab Government Committed to the All-Round Development of the Land of Martyrs, Fatehgarh Sahib—MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai

Fatehgarh Sahib, October 15:

Advocate Lakhbir Singh Rai, the constituency MLA, started construction on the route that would connect Fatehgarh Sahib to Mandi Gobindgarh via Dera Mir Miran, Sahzadpur, Jandali, and Bagh Sikandar, in response to a long-standing request from the constituents.

He said that the construction of this 10.80-kilometer road will cost about ₹2.18 crore and be finished in time for the Shaheedi Sabha (Martyrdom Congregation), which will take place in Fatehgarh Sahib in December.

The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is dedicated to the comprehensive development of Fatehgarh Sahib, the land of martyrs, according to MLA Rai. He continued by saying that the state administration is working sincerely and with consideration for the convenience of the thousands of devotees who travel from India and other countries to attend the Shaheedi Sabha. According to him, the constituency’s citizens have long called for the construction of this route, and their wish is now being met. He claimed that people will greatly benefit from the completion of this route.

Advocate Lakhbir Singh Rai urged the constituency’s residents to keep a close eye on the development projects the Punjab government is undertaking in order to ensure that the caliber of the work is maintained.

Manpreet Singh Johny, Jagjit Singh, Dilbagh Singh, Balwinder Singh, Parlad Singh, Ravi Cheema, Satwinder Singh Sarpanch, Karan Cheema, and Kulwinder Singh Dera were among the dignitaries in attendance.
