An advertisement for the hiring of teachers and principals for schools under its jurisdiction—the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB)—was released by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). The SGPC is accepting submissions through October 22, 2025.
The material indicates that the recruitment drive is for posts at Shri Guru Arjun Dev Public School, Senior Secondary School Kartarpur Jalandhar; Bhai Maha Singh Khalsa Public School, Jalalabad Fazilka; and Shri Mata Ganga Girls Senior Secondary. A B.Ed. degree and an M.A./M.Sc. or M.Com. degree with at least 55% to 60% of the possible points are prerequisites for eligibility. Those with up to ten years of administrative experience or those who have taught at an accredited institution will be given preference. ₹1000 has been set as the application cost.

Maths teachers, nursery teachers and DPIs are needed at Guru Arjun Dev Public High School Bharh Sahib, Pathankot.
In the meanwhile, teachers are needed for Punjabi, English, maths, physical education, music, fine arts and general teaching at Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh Public School Guru Ka Bagh Tehsil Ajnala, Amritsar.
SGPC Issues Important Guidelines
Guidelines for hiring teachers for the 2025–2026 school year have been released by the SGPC, the Directorate of Education. The deadline for applications is October 22, 2025.
Eligibility: For TGT/PGT positions, candidates must receive at least 55–60% of the possible points, while primary teachers must receive 50%.
Preference will be given to applicants who have passed the CTET or PSTET.
A written test consisting of multiple-choice questions, general knowledge, subject knowledge, and teaching aptitude will be used to make the selection. Complete application information is available at www.desgpc.org.
