Last Farewell to Punjabi Singer Rajvir Jawanda: Funeral will be held where he first sang on stage; CM Bhagwant Mann arrives for the final viewing.
Today, October 9, Punjabi musician Rajvir Jawanda will receive his final farewell in his hometown of Pona, Ludhiana. Around 11:00 AM, his funeral services will be held on the grounds of the government school, which is around 30 meters away. Here, a memorial could be constructed as well. Rajvir made his stage debut here as well.
For the singer’s last viewing, CM Bhagwant Mann has also made his way to the area. In Jawanda’s ancestral home, he is paying his final respects to the family members and Punjabi music business luminaries.
Jawanda died at Fortis Hospital in Mohali yesterday, Wednesday, October 8. At the young age of 35, he passed away at 10:55 AM. According to the medical report from Fortis Hospital, Jawanda experienced multiple organ failure.
His mother, wife, and kids paid their final respects at his house in Sector 71, Mohali, where his body was initially brought after his passing. The government hospital in Phase-6, Mohali, then performed a post-mortem.
