Congratulates Residents on the Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji

SAS Nagar, October 7:
MLA Kulwant Singh today gave permission letters for five-marla plots to seventy homeless families in Village Baliali, District SAS Nagar, as part of the Punjab government’s ongoing effort to house the poor. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s goal of providing housing for all low-income families through the State Government’s welfare programs reached a new milestone with this event.

MLA Kulwant Singh told the audience that the administration is totally dedicated to helping the less fortunate members of society. ‘Every family deserves a place to live and a respectable existence,’ he declared. The Mann Government is working tirelessly to realise this goal. Under this people-centric initiative, he continued, beneficiaries will soon be able to build their own homes thanks to the distribution of five-marla plots.

The MLA highlighted the Punjab government’s pro-people measures, pointing out that the Bhagwant Singh Mann-led administration has already been giving home customers free power up to 600 units, which has given thousands of households in the state much-needed respite.

He discussed Mission Yudh Nasheya Virudh, which was established to rid the youth of narcotics and direct their energies towards the development of the country, while highlighting the necessity of eliminating the drug problem in Punjab. He said, “Drug traffickers are facing the heat of this mission, with their illegal properties being demolished and many of them being put behind bars.”
