CM Mann to join Bhagwan Valmiki’s procession in Ludhiana: Avoid coming to the city’s inner markets; there will be a traffic jam.


On the occasion of Bhagwan Valmiki’s manifestation festival (Pragototsav), Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann would take part in the parade. Leaders of other political parties will arrive at the procession’s starting point after it begins from a different location, according to the event’s organisers. At 2:00 PM, the programme will begin.

To welcome the Bhagwan Valmiki procession, stalls have been erected around the city. People may have to deal with the issue of traffic congestion in these marketplaces as a result. In order to prevent traffic bottlenecks, the administration has urged the people to stay off the highways leading to the city’s inner markets.

This will be the procession’s path.
At approximately 4 PM, the procession will begin at Daresi Ground.

Before arriving at the Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir in Ghati Mohalla Chowk, it will travel by Purani Sabzi Mandi Chowk, Pratap Bazar, Mata Rani Chowk, Ghantaghar, Chhoda Bazar, Division Number Teen Chowk, and Islamia Road. The Chief Minister will start the procession today from Daresi Ground, according to Vijay Danav Yashpal Chaudhary, the procession organiser.

After noon, four-wheeled vehicle entry is prohibited in the city’s core areas.
To prevent traffic bottlenecks, the traffic police have prohibited four-wheeled vehicles from entering the city’s central markets after noon due to the procession. During the procession, all kinds of vehicles will not be allowed to enter the procession route. Along the path of the march, the police have put in place complex security measures.
