Firing at a Police Checkpoint in Ludhiana: Bike Riders Coming from the Wrong Side Were Stopped, They Fired a Gun; One Wounded.
Two young people on a Splendour bike were told to stop by the police for approaching from the wrong side at a Naka bandi (police checkpoint/blockade) near the Lalton Police Chowki on Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana, Punjab. Rather than halting, the criminals opened fire on the police squad.
One guy who was assisting the police in apprehending the crooks was shot, while the other police officers were spared. That individual was taken to a private hospital right away. Both cyclists escaped after breaching the roadblock.
Firing at the PCR Zone In-charge’s Checkpoint According to Avneet Kaur, the SHO of Police Station Sadar, PCR Zone In-charge Inspector Sunita set up the checkpoint. Two young people were told to stop as they came on a bike from the wrong side. Instead of slowing the bike down, the criminals abruptly increased its speed.
The Individual Was Shot
The miscreants opened fire on the police force as they attempted to halt them. A private citizen was shot, but no police officers were struck. Lakhwinder has been identified as the injured party, and they have been taken right away to a private hospital.
