Rajkamal, Bassi Pathana, October 1: The event began with the ceremonial lamp being lit by the principal guest, Gurpreet Singh GP, State President of the SC Wing and former MLA, at the Old City Ground while the Shri Ram Natak and Social Club distributed the Ramlila to devotees. Manish Kumar, Krishan Kumar Bector, counsellor Pawan Sharma, social worker Anoop Singla, and Satpal Sharma were among the special guests.

Concentrate on Drug-Free Society and Social Evils

Former MLA Gurpreet Singh GP stated in his speech that we must defeat social problems in the same way as Shri Ram defeated Lanka. He claimed that because drug addiction is destroying our society, public support is crucial to the success of the Punjab government’s and the police department’s anti-drug campaign.

All club leaders were given a pledge by Gurpreet Singh GP to establish a drug-free society during the ceremony, and the Shri Ram Natak and Social Club promised their full support. Gurpreet Singh GP was also given particular recognition on this occasion.
