Theft at Major’s House in Ludhiana Army Camp: Many items missing, including laptop and government phone; Insider suspected.

At the Army Camp in Dholewal, Ludhiana, Punjab, robbers entered into a Major’s home and stole something. A laptop and a government phone were among the valuable devices taken from the Major’s home by the robbers. When the Major complained about the theft to Police Station Division Number Six, the theft was discovered. The complaint was registered by Major Sachin Sharma.

Major Sachin Sharma told the police in his statement that he is assigned to the Dholewal Army Camp and that his home is located within the camp. Between September 18 and September 21, when he was on leave, an unknown individual broke into his government home.

These items were stolen

The Major told the police that the thief stole a laptop from his government house, a government mobile phone given to him by the Army, glasses from the Ray-Ban company and a watch from the FOSSIL GENS CARLYLE company. Some important documents related to the Major’s laptop and mobile were also stolen. Following this, the Army has started its own investigation to trace the thief.

Outsiders are not allowed in the Army Camp due to concerns of insider involvement.

There is no access for outsiders to the Dholewal Army Camp. Theft within the Army Camp’s big residence is regarded as a big incident in this context. Army officials believe this attack was committed by someone living inside the camp. Investigations are also being conducted into who used the gate entry registration to enter the camp during this period. Army officials, however, are not yet prepared to comment on the situation.

Police started looking into it.

Major Sachin Sharma’s complaint has been received, and a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed, according to ASI Gurjinder Singh of Police Station Division Number Six. The inquiry into this issue has commenced.
