A mattress factory in Nurpur Dona village near Kapurthala, on Jalandhar Road, unexpectedly caught fire this morning. Items stored in the factory valued at lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes by fire. It is still unknown what caused the fire.
The fire department personnel arrived at the scene and began the rescue effort as soon as the fire was reported. Three fire department vehicles and a ten-person crew have been attempting to contain the fire for two hours, according to information obtained from the fire office.

In Kapurthala’s Nurpur Dona village, a mattress manufacturing caught fire. Fire Officer Gurpreet Singh and his team arrived at the scene at 8:26 AM to start the rescue effort after the fire department received the information at 8:25 AM.
According to the source, three fire engines are attempting to put out the fire as of this writing. One of these is from Kartarpur, and the other two are from Kapurthala.
