A truck of devotees from Punjab overturned in Himachal. 2 dead, 6 out of 20 injured are in critical condition; they were going to Chamunda to set up a ‘langar.’
A truck carrying worshippers from Bathinda (Punjab) to Maa Chamunda Temple crashed with a bus on Tuesday morning in Dadhiyara, Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, and overturned. There have been two fatalities and around 20 injuries in the incident. ‘Langar’ materials were being brought by the devotees to establish a communal kitchen. While the others are receiving treatment at the Civil Hospital in Dehra, six of the injured were in critical condition and were transported to Tanda Medical College.
Besides the devotees, the truck was also filled with ‘langar’ supplies.
