BJP leader says central government with Punjab.

BJP leader says central government with Punjab: Ashwani Sharma visits flood-affected areas, appeals to the government to rise above politics.

Ashwani Sharma, an MLA and the functioning president of the Punjab BJP, arrived at Ajnala on Friday. He met with BJP workers and conducted an assessment of the villages impacted by the flood.

This time, Punjab’s farmers and regular people have suffered significant losses due to the floods, Sharma said. Numerous homes have been washed away, crops have been devastated, and thousands of families are finding it difficult to go about their everyday lives. According to him, the region has been severely impacted from Pathankot to Abohar due to Ravi’s destruction.

States run by the BJP provide aid worth 5–5 crore rupees.

According to Ashwani Sharma, BJP members are consistently delivering relief supplies and on-the-ground assistance. He added that the entire nation, not just Punjab, is contributing and that states led by the BJP have each contributed five crore rupees.

According to Sharma, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promptly released a relief fund of 1600 crore rupees in light of the gravity of the situation. According to him, states receive a grant each year to deal with disasters, and most recently, an advance of 240 crore rupees was delivered for floods.

State governments shouldn’t become involved in politics, Sharma stated.

“In this difficult time, everyone must unite and rise above politics to become a support system for the flood victims,” Ashwani Sharma said in an appeal to the populace. He promised that every Punjabi resident is supported by the federal government and that every effort will be made to reconstruct the state. He added that rather than engaging in politics at this time, the opposition and the state government should cooperate.
