Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol arrives in Amritsar: Will meet flood-affected people; pays obeisance at the Golden Temple.

Today, Murlidhar Mohol, the Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, landed in Amritsar. He visited Sri Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) to pay his respects. He prayed for harmony and peace in Punjab while he was there. He then told the media that he would travel to Punjab’s flood-affected regions, beginning in the district of Moga.

Floods have caused major damage to numerous states in the nation, according to Minister Mohol. All government ministers have been instructed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to travel to flood-affected areas and evaluate the situation. He added that floods have flooded a number of Punjabi areas.
According to the central minister, he will ask the prime minister to expand the aid package.
He said that a rescue package worth 1600 crore rupees had already been made available by the central government. He will ask the prime minister to further raise the package if this sum is insufficient for the flood victims. Minister Mohol promised that there would never be a lack of relief and rehabilitation efforts and that the central government is dedicated to offering all help to the people in flood-affected areas around the nation.
