The Global Forecast System (GFS) and the Meteorological Department predict that a large low-pressure region will likely bring substantial rains from the end of September to the start of October. A sizable monsoon low-pressure system is developing in the Bay of Bengal on September 25 or 26. As a result, West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and East Uttar Pradesh may experience two to three days of intense rainfall, with the exception of East-West Madhya Pradesh. Rainfall of up to three inches is possible in certain places.
