Cloudburst in Sahastradhara, Dehradun: Tapkeshwar Temple submerged, filled with 2 feet of debris; landslide in Mandi, Himachal, 3 dead; Dharampur roads closed.
Late Monday night, Sahastradhara, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, had a cloudburst. Two persons are missing in the Tamasa River flood caused by heavy rain, and numerous cars have been washed away. Schools up to the 12th grade in Dehradun have been closed.
The flood flooded the Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple. According to the priest, the entire temple was flooded about five in the morning, and numerous idols were washed away. The sanctum sanctorum is secure, nevertheless. Two feet of debris were visible within the shrine once the water subsided. The roadways in the Kotropi neighbourhood of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, were swept away with debris following the overnight downpour. There are 493 roads and three national highways in the state that are closed to traffic.

Three persons have been killed as a result of a landslip in Nihri, Mandi. The authorities claim that a house collapsed after falling debris from a nearby rock. One family had five members buried in the rubble.
In Mumbai, Maharashtra, heavy rain on Monday resulted in waterlogging on roadways, subways and railway tracks. Eleven residents in Beed were transported by the Air Force.
