Fazilka’s Illegal Arms Trafficking Busted: 5 Pistols and Magazines Recovered; Were Procured Through a Foreign Network.

In a quick operation in Laduka, Fazilka, the CIA-2 police have detained two suspects in the case of illegal arms trafficking from Pakistan. They were found in possession of five handguns. An inquiry is in progress, and a formal complaint has been filed in the case.
Gaurav Yadav, the DGP for Punjab, also tweeted the information. The names of the apprehended suspects are Gurpreet Singh and Surinder Singh. At the Sadar Fazilka police station, a formal complaint has been filed under the Arms Act. In order to apprehend the entire gang, the authorities are currently looking into the forward and backward connections of this network.

Five firearms and five whole magazines were found among them. The two people who were detained are Surinder Singh, who lives in Dhani Kahna Ram, and Gurpreet Singh, also known as Gori, who lives in the village of Tahliwala. The accused is currently the subject of a case filed at the Sadar Fazilka police station. The apprehended suspect will now be placed under police remand and brought before the court for interrogation.

Punjabi police are questioning the two detained suspects about the nature of the planned attack and who supplied them with the weapons.

Their goal was to supply these weapons to Punjab’s active criminal gangs so that they could carry out illegal activities.
