PM Modi to visit flood-affected Punjab-Himachal today: will depart from Delhi, conduct an aerial survey, and meet with victims; the AAP government demanded 80 thousand crores.

Today, September 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to the flood-affected regions of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Delhi has already seen him leave. He shared this knowledge on X personally. The Prime Minister will first take his plane to Pathankot. He will then use a helicopter to perform an aerial reconnaissance of the damage in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu, Mandi, and Chamba at 11:30 AM.

The prime minister is scheduled to attend a crucial meeting regarding the Dharamshala disaster at 12:00 PM. Here, a presentation will provide him with comprehensive details regarding the harm inflicted by the calamity. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will also be in attendance at this time. Before the PM arrived, he had gone over the arrangements. The Prime Minister will meet with flood victims in Gurdaspur’s Tibbari neighborhood at 4:00 PM to hear about their issues.

The center has been asked to pay Punjab’s AAP government Rs 80 thousand crore. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, concurred, saying that a specific relief package ought to be provided.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had already visited and spoken with flood victims in Amritsar, Gurdaspur, and Kapurthala on September 5.
