Safely Transported Sri Guru Granth Sahib by Boat: Floods in the Border Areas of Fazilka, Dhaani Suhaawa Singh Is Surrounded by Water.
The Fazilka border areas have been affected by flooding. As a result, a team from the Buddu Sahib Trust in Himachal Pradesh has successfully moved two sacred Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, which were housed at Dhaani Suhaawa Singh, to a safer site via boat.
While safely transporting Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s sacred Saroops from the flood-affected area to a secure location, the volunteers on board the boat performed Gurbani (hymns) and Kirtan (devotional music).
Volunteer Sukhjinder Singh provided information, stating that they were made aware of the Dhaani, which is situated in Fazilka on the opposite bank of the Sutlej River.

Two holy copies of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib were stored in Dhani Suhave Singh as a result of flooding that happened in the Fazilka border area. In Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, a team from the Kalgidhar Trust has now securely relocated these to another hamlet.
According to the story, the organisation’s volunteers transported the two holy manuscripts of Sri Guru Granth Sahib to a secure place by boat while reciting the revered Gurbani.
A volunteer named Sukhjinder Singh provided information, stating that he was told Dhani Suhave Singh is situated in Fazilka, on the other side of the Sutlej River. The two holy copies of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib were found in the settlement, which is entirely encircled by water.

The volunteers then travelled to Dhani in a boat operated by the Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, and while performing religious chants, they removed the two holy copies of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and relocated them to a secure area. According to them, the holy copies were transported from the flood-affected region and are now housed in the Gurdwara Singh Sabha on Gaushala Road in Fazilka.
