Murder in Mohali.

After a bystander in Sector 91 of Mohali reported seeing a body with injuries in the bushes, the Balongi police launched an investigation. The scene was visited by a forensic team.

His brother and other family members were able to identify the dead. His fiancée and her family are suspected by the family of killing him and disposing of his body there.

The police, however, are handling the situation as though it were a traffic collision. Even though the police claim that the body has no bullet marks, the discovery of two revolver shells close to the body complicates matters. This makes one wonder how the handgun shells ended up there.

The young man, who had relocated to Mohali from Uttar Pradesh a week before in pursuit of employment, had been engaged only a few months prior.
