Sukhbir Badal honors Chief Sant Baljinder Singh, who passed away from a heart attack following Kirtan. Funeral services will take place tomorrow at 3 PM.
President Sukhbir Singh Badal of the Shiromani Akali Dal visited Gurdwara Karmasar Radha Soami to pay his respects after Sant Baljinder Singh Ji, the leader of the Radha Soami sect, passed away. He placed a sheet over Sant Ji’s mortal remains.
“Sant Baljinder Singh Ji devoted his life to serving humanity and spreading Gurbani,” Sukhbir Badal stated. ‘Naam Simran’ (reciting the name of God) was how he connected with people. At the same time, he encouraged people to pursue spirituality. The next generation was introduced to spiritual and sanskar (values) by Sant Ji through his educational institutes.
Sant Ji has made a priceless contribution to the Sikh faith and the realm of dharma, according to Shiromani Akali Dal Vice President Jagdev Singh Boparai. Both society and the religious community have suffered an irreversible loss with his demise. At Radha Soami, thousands of devotees honored Sant Baljinder Singh Ji. They all decided to take the route he had indicated. On August 27 at 3 pm, Baba Ji’s final rituals will be conducted at Radha Soami.

On Monday, he passed away.
Sant Baba Baljinder Singh, the leader of the Radha Soami sect in Punjab, died early Monday. Up till twelve in the morning, he was doing kirtan at the late Sant Ishar Singh’s rain ceremony. Then he retired to his room to sleep.
He experienced chest ache in the morning. He was taken right away to the hospital run by the Trust. From there, he died en route to Fortis Hospital. The congregation and community are grieving over the news of Sant Baljinder Singh’s passing. The final darshan (viewing) is being sought for by thousands of devotees.
