PHSC Vice Chairman Maninderjit Singh Vicky Ghanour promises to meet with the CM and Health Minister to address the 108 Ambulance Association’s demands.

August 19, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar: A team from the 108 Ambulance Association, Punjab, met with Maninderjit Singh Vicky Ghanour, the vice chairman of the Punjab Health System Corporation (PHSC), today. In order to guarantee a prompt settlement, he promised to bring their demands to the notice of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh. The Vice Chairman calmly listened to the challenges experienced by the ambulance staff during the discussion held at the corporation’s Mohali office. According to him, the association’s representatives held a thorough debate on the concerns and delivered a demand letter. By bringing their issues to the attention of the Chief Minister and Health Minister, he reaffirmed his commitment to promptly resolving them. The 108 Ambulance Association, Punjab’s president, Mani Kumar, stated during the event that they fully trust the Punjabi government and vice chairman Vicky Ghanour to meet their legitimate demands. Among the delegation’s main demands were a pay rise and long-term employment for the 108 ambulance employees. He went on to say that the vice chairman paid close attention to what they had to say and promised to address their concerns. Along with the other 108 ambulance employees, the delegation also included Sukhraj Singh, Association Advisor; Sat Narayan, General Secretary; and Arvind Chauhan, Vice President.
