Former CM Channi raises questions on CM: Says, “The subdivision hospital he inaugurated, he built it three years ago.”
The Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s Monday opening of a subdivision hospital in Chamkaur Sahib has sparked heated political debate. According to Charanjit Singh Channi, the former chief minister of Punjab, this community hospital was granted sub-divisional hospital status in 2021.
At that point, all approvals had also been obtained. By December 2022, it was finished being constructed. However, the Chief Minister has now left without explanation, simply by making a lot of commotion and having his picture and video shot. According to him, they have only hurt Chamkaur Sahib.

In a two-minute, twenty-four-second video posted to his social media account, Channi outlined three main themes. They are as follows:
1. The medical facility was prepared in December 2022.
2. Made a big deal out of nothing.
The CM created a commotion by opening the hospital without any justification. In actuality, he is merely attempting to deceive others by staging a performance. For three and a half years, this hospital was delayed. The Aam Aadmi Party administration has only employed one doctor here when there should have been 19. Here, seven doctors were already assigned.
According to former chief minister Channi, CM Bhagwant Mann is opening the hospital in Chamkaur Sahib. Manish Sisodia, the Punjab in-charge for their party, has stated that they will employ every strategy possible, including division, punishment, and persuasion. Division entails concealing the truth and maintaining secrecy. I have the file, which is the truth regarding this hospital. In 2021, when I served as Chief Minister, this hospital was transformed from a community hospital to a subdivisional hospital. At the moment, everything was approved. By December 2022, the tender had been released and was prepared.
3. The extent of AAP’s destruction.
Channi claimed that the health system is being destroyed by the AAP government. They lack talent and vision. They are unable to advance in the medical field. Even the projects that the previous government built are not being maintained or advanced.
