A significant plot by the terrorist group BKI was foiled in Punjab: Zeeshan, the mastermind behind Baba Siddiqui’s murder, is the ringleader; a grenade was found on henchmen detained in Rajasthan and Kolkata.
A significant terrorist plot has been foiled by Punjab Police’s Jalandhar Counter Intelligence team. After questioning henchmen connected to BKI (Babbar Khalsa International), the team found an 86-P hand grenade that was intended to be used in a terrorist incident.
Before this, Counter Intelligence had detained a Rajasthani citizen named Ritik Narolia and a youngster a few days earlier. According to the information obtained from questioning Ritik and the minor, their accomplices were also apprehended, according to Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav.
Jackson was apprehended from Nakodar, while Vishavjit was captured from Kolkata while attempting to escape to Malaysia. These arrests allowed for the recovery of the hand grenade and prevented a significant terrorist incident before it had occurred.

Disclosure during questioning: Canada issued orders.
According to DGP Gaurav Yadav, the entire module was carried out per the directives of Zeeshan Akhtar and Ajay Gill, the BKI masterminds residing in Canada. In the final week of July, Vishavjit and Jackson, the accused, obtained two hand grenades from Beas with the assistance of their colleagues.
According to Gaurav Yadav, approximately ten days ago, other members of this module detonated one of these two explosives outside a liquor store in SBS Nagar. This demonstrates how persistently this network attempted to incite terror throughout the state. According to the DGP, a formal complaint has been filed with the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) in Amritsar. According to him, Punjab Police is totally dedicated to ridding the state of organised crime and terrorism.
