The Punjab government will hold an important cabinet meeting today at Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s house in Chandigarh.
During the meeting, the CM is expected to discuss the issue of land pooling and may seek suggestions from ministers. Apart from this the cabinet might take important decisions related to new job recruitments in different departments especially in the health department.
In the previous cabinet meeting, the government gave major relief by increasing the age limit for Group D job applicants from 18 to 37 years. The cabinet had also approved strict action against the sale of fake seeds by changing rules in the related law and adding heavy penalties.
More big announcements are expected today.
