LPolice from Sultanwind station arrested a property dealer and recovered a large amount of illegal liquor and banned Chinese kite string from his house.
ADCP City-1 Vishaljeet Singh said that they received secret information about illegal activities happening in the Kot Mit Singh area. A team was quickly formed and a raid was carried out at the house of the accused.
During the raid, police recovered 78 bottles of liquor and 54 bundles of Chinese kite string. The accused has been identified as Gagandeep Singh a resident of Guru Nanak Avenue.
The police have registered a case and are further investigating the matter.
