The Punjab government held a cabinet meeting today at Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s residence in Chandigarh. This was the second cabinet meeting in two days.
The main focus of the meeting was to discuss national and development-related issues.
Senior officials attended the meeting and shared their views on how to improve development and solve national-level problems. The government said it is working actively to address these challenges.
A special moment in the meeting was the recognition of the Punjab Police PCR team, who bravely saved 11 people including five children after a car fell into the Sirhind Canal. The government praised their quick and courageous action.
The meeting also discussed the current law and order situation in the state especially recent incidents in Ludhiana. The government said it will take strict action against those responsible.
The Aam Aadmi Party stated that the government is committed to working for the welfare of the people despite criticism from some corners.
