Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal visited the family of businessman Sanjay Verma, who was recently murdered in Abohar.
Badal said that crime has increased in Punjab since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) came to power. He blamed the AAP government for “ruining the state” and claimed that many industrialists are moving to other states because of threats and extortion.
He also spoke to the local police chief (SSP) on the phone and said that people in Abohar are living in fear after the murder.
