Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal has announced the new working committee of the party. The committee will have 97 members, including educationists and Sikh affairs experts.
For the first time, 16 senior women leaders have been added to the party’s top decision-making group. Several young leaders are also part of the committee, showing a mix of experience and youth.
Apart from this, 22 senior leaders have been added as special invitees. These include Baldev Singh Khehra from Phillaur, Tajinder Singh Sanghreri from Sangrur, and Principal Ranjit Singh from Ludhiana.
