In a shocking incident in Punjab’s Batala, the mother of jailed gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria was shot and killed by unidentified men on a bike.
The shooting happened on Thursday evening on Qadian Road, which is under the Civil Lines area.
Harjit Kaur, the gangster’s mother, was badly injured in the attack and was rushed to a hospital in Amritsar. Sadly, she died from her bullet injuries.
Another person who was with her was also shot and killed.
Police are investigating the case and searching for the attackers.
