BJP Leader Urges Gadkari to Expedite Pending Road Projects in Muktsar

Senior BJP leader and former district president Rajesh Pathela Gora has urged the early completion of two crucial road infrastructure projects in Muktsar district, during a recent meeting with Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi.

Pathela highlighted the long-standing delay in the Muktsar-Ferozepur highway construction, which has caused significant inconvenience to daily commuters and affected regional connectivity. He also raised concerns about the unfinished bridge over the Chandbhan drain at Rupana village on the Muktsar-Malout road, which has remained pending for several months.

“Gadkari ji immediately instructed his staff to direct the concerned officials to expedite work on both projects within a week,” Pathela said after the meeting on Wednesday. He expressed optimism that the minister’s assurance would result in prompt on-ground action.

Pathela emphasized that completing these projects would not only improve road infrastructure but also benefit local residents, farmers, and traders, boosting overall economic activity and mobility in the region.

Both the highway and the bridge are considered vital for traffic flow and development, with their completion expected to bring much-needed relief and progress to Muktsar district.
